MANUFACTURING TRADE.
LONDON, 19th June. By arrangement with a Lancashire spinning firm, a quantity of material is being manufactured exclusively from Australian cotton. Mr. Fearnley, exmanager of an English paper mill, which is using cotton waste for paper-making, is visiting Australia, to inquire into the possibility of the erection of such mills in conjunction with the Australian Cotton Growers' Association. • .
