GEEENMEADOWS, This Day. The second day of the Napier Park Racing Club's Winter Sleeting is being held in showery weather. The attendance is fair and the course heavy. Results :—
Meanee Hack Handicap, of 125 soys; six furlongs.—Grandiose 9.0, 1; Santiago, 9.3, 2; Cochineal, 9.6, 3. Won by a length, a head between second and third. AH started. Time, lmin 21 2-ssec.
Waiohild Hurdles, of ISO soys; one mile and a-half.—Royal Gift, 10.5, 1; Highway, 9.0, 2; Matetua, 10.13, 3. Scratched : Naughty. Won by half a length, a long way between second and third. Time, 2min 58 2-ssec.
Winter Oats Handicap, of 175 soys; seven furlongs.—Civilform, 10.1, 1; Haurangi, 10.4, 2; Tari, 9.8, 3. Scratched : Sunray and Tireless. Won easily, three lengths between second and third. Time, lmin 36 4-ssec.
■Park Steeplechase, of 350 soys; two miles and a-half.—Chillies, 9.0, 1; First Line, 11.1, 2; Ethiopian, 9.0, 3. All started: Calma, Oak Rose, and Gold Scene fell. Won by 160 yards. Time, smin 26sec.
