WASHINGTON, 16th June. A Philippine mission, consisting of Senor Manuel Quezon, President of the Senate, and twenty-seven other Parliamentarians, has presented a statement to President Harding, asking for the independence of the Philippines, and pointing out that the Washington Conference agreements have removed the danger of outside aggression.
