MARIST v. Y.M.C.A. A.
, The second senior game on Association Park was the Marist-Y.M.C.A. A match,;in which Marist were successful by three goals to nil. From the kick-off till the final whistle blew, the game was played under very adverse conditions. Half-way through the first spell, Marist secured their first goal, and in the second half Pope twice beat Shiilsbn, making the score 3-nil in favour ■of the Greens. Y.MiC.A. were playing short, and were weak in'front of goal. Mr. D. Sterrat was referee. '
