SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

Much interest was aroused among the seafarers, on Thursday at the Sailors' Friend Society by the concert given by the pupils «f Queen Margaret's Collece. In addition to the Glee Club, the following rendered items: The Misses P. Wilson, M. M'Caw, H. Townshend, H. Scotland,. I. Carey, M. Nash,_ J. Bonnie, J. M'Morrin, N. Gray, F. Line, J. Veitch, R. Scott. J. Pearson, E. Wood, I. Selby, I. NoMe Adams, M. Julias. I. Beichel, and Messrs. Johnson and Thompson. Miss M\ 'Smith was at the piano. The freedom of the competitions gave a strong home-touch to the proceedings. The prizes came from ■well-wishers, and went to the Somerset and Port Adelaide. Mr. Moore, missioner, made an appeal for discarded reading matter to bo left at the Institute for use of the men at sea.
