WATERSIDERS' DISPUTE

In accordance with a suggestion made at the recent eitting of the Arbitration Court in Wellington, it has been agreed to avoid separate sittings of the Concilia-, tion Council at Wanganui, New Plymouth, Picton, and Nelson in connection with the waterside workers' dispute. Instead, it has been decided to hold one sitting, in Wellington next month, at which the conditions affecting the four ports mentioned will be discussed. The case will then go before the Arbitration Court in the ordinary way.
