EASTER TOURNEY
Tlie Wellington provincial champion-J ship tourney, to be held under the auspices of the Wellington Club, should attract a good deal of interest during Easter. There will be play on three days—Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday— and intending participants will find the programme well varied. With a view to adding to the attractiveness of the tourney, a proposal is viewed with fayI our among members of the club that a match for professionals be arranged. It is likely that a purse will. be , provided by the members. The Tajanaki championship meeting and handicap tourney is being held by the New Plymouth Club at the same time as the Wellington tourney, the programme for' the three days being made up of ten events. The entries close on the 10th April. . \
