200 RETURNED SOLDIERS.
The Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association has over 200 names on its ■unemployment register, many of whom are married men with families. Of this number approximately 75 per cent, are casual labourers, and the balanco consist of commercial travellers,, stewards, seamen, tailors, cabinetmakers, gardeneis, motor drivers, salesmen, mechanics, clerks, storamen, warehousemen, carters, plumbers, cooks, tool setter, blacksmiths, firemen, farm hands, painter, marine- engineer, caretaker, chemist, watchman, fitter, bookkeeper, grocers, barmen, hotel "workers, printer, draper, stonemason, carpenter, butcher, office cleaner, bootmaker, conchbuilder, and pressers. Those who have a\ job, even for an hour or a day, are requested to give the secretary a telephone ring..
