SIMS BEAT SWANSTON IN: SPECIAL MATCH.

A match, -between A. W. Sims (MojUia) and R. M. K. Swanstonl (Wellington) was ( held on the Moana tennis court to-day in beautiful weather, to determine which ehould be included in the team to play New South Wales. The pair played three sets of six games, and Sims won, 6-1, .6-0, 6-2. Swanston, though- driving well occasionally, persistently found the net, and his serving was very weak. Sims placed his etrokes accurately, and drove %is opponent out of position. ; : • 'i>- ;
