Sir,—l should like to suggest that steps be. taken to regulate, the bathing costumes worn by men on our public beaches. The effect of some of the men r costumes, to anyone not a phallic worshipper, is simply revolting. In. many cases there.is. nothing to complain about, but there always seem to be a,/ few whose appearance really amounts to an unspeakably" -gross indecency; in fact, I am not sure that'it is not an absolute criminal offence, and the Minister of Justice miglifc very well instruct the police to arrest any man who .neglects to conform to a prescribed and pattern of bathing "dress. .It \t.~ done up North—why not here?—l am. etc., W.T. 7th March. • ' ..
