INCREASED GRADING FIGURES.'
The director of the Dairy Division, Mr. W. M. Singleton, furnishes the 'following .particulars of cheese and butter graded during the montk of FebruaTy :—
Butter graded, February.. 1922, 103,790 cwt (inc. 16.13 per cent.); February, 1921, '89,370 cwt: " Total; for seven months' ended :—February, 1922, " 737,----781 cwt (inc. 34.61 per cent.);' February, 1921, 548,057 cwt. Cheese graded February, 1922, 176,357 cwt (inc. 33,87 per cent.); February, 1921, 131,729 cwt. Total for seven months ended.:—February, 1922, 892,915 cwt (inc; 2.37 per cent.);- February, 1921, 872,235 cwt. Converting these figures into butterfat equivalent, there is an increase of 20.96 per cent, in butter-fat production for the seven-monthly period ended February, 1922. over the corresponding ■period for 1920-21, -i- . . -
