FATAL FALL DOWN STEAMER'S HOLD

AUCKLAND, 7th March,
Herbert J. Tither, refrigerating engineer on the Atheniu, fell down one of the steamer's holds this evening, sustaining injuries to his head, from which he died in the hospital an hoar later. He was an Englishman,'between thirty and forty years of age, and married.
