TUTANEKAI'S WIRELESS
ANOMALOUS POSITION REMEDIED.
Arrangements have been made for the Tutanekai to carry a wireless operator when she puts to sea. The matter was given publicity when a -correspondent wrote to The Post, stating that although the Tutanekai is fitted with wireless, she did not carry: anyone who was competent to operate it. The truth./of the statement was admitted by the Marine Department, which, by the instructions of the. Minister in Charge (tlie Hon. G. J. Anderson), has now made provision for one of the Post arid Telegraph Department's wireless operators to accompany the ship whenever she puts to sea.. Thjerefore, in case.of need, it will be possible in future for immediate communication to be set up between the ship and land stations. ;' -•';"■.
