SALVATION ARMY FESTIVAL
The harvest festival of the Salvation Array commenced at the Vivian-street Citadel < last night, with great success. There was a large attendance, anij great enthusiasm \vaß shown. Fruit and vegetables sold freely, and the. refreshment room was liberally patronised. VMusical items were provided b> Mrs. W. J.Coventry, :.Mrs. J. Collins, Mrs. Yeo, Miss Bleoze, Miss M'Lennan, and Messrs. R. C. R. Moore, j A.. Edwards, Glennie, Grant, and Paton, and elocution items .by Mr. Barton Ginp;or, and every performer was recalled. Mrs. F. Saunders plnyed the accompaniments. The festival will'be con-' tinued this evoning, and the' programme will ,include itarns by the Silver Band Songster Brigadii.
