GENERAL ELECTIONS
CANDIDATES PREPARING.
Names of candidates for the next General Elections at tb,p end of this year are already being announced. Two new candidates of the United Progressive Liberal and Labour Party have been announced, according to the Auckland Star. The first of these is Mr.", W. H. Wackrow, farmer, of Rotorua, who will contest the Rotorua seat against the sitting member, Mr. ; F. F. Hockly. .Mr. Gilbert M'Kay, farmer, will contest the Hawkes Bay seat on behalf of the party. Sir. H. M. Campbell, the sitting Reform member, has made no announcement to date, but Sir Andrew .Russell has stated that he will stnnd for the aeat as an independent. , >s
