"BRADFORD TOPS BUYING.
Bradford tops market is reported by the High Commissioner, London, 4th March, as better, there having been Increased buying of fine wool this week. Offering's heavy, and contracts have been placed for 64's (merino) tops at 4s, though some topsmakers decline to accept less than 4s 3d. ' Present top quotations-are:— 64's, merinos, 4s 3d per lb; 56's, super halibred, ■2s 3£d per lb; 40's, prepared, Is O^d per lb; fine and medium crossbred steady.
