LODGE MEETING
Pacific Lodge (No. 8 U.A.0.8.) held it 3 quarterly meeting, this week. A.D. Brother Noad was in the chair. The delegate to the Friendly Societies' dispensary spoke on the useful work of the dispenswy. It was decided to enter for the .ritual competition, and pay an official visit to Pride of Brooklyn i Lodge on Thursday, 9th ' March, where tho competition is to take place. Sick pay to the amount .of £22 was passed for ■payment. Two new membera were initiated into the Order, making fourteen new members for the quarter. ' The position of I.G. being, rendered Tftcant, . Brother Heani was unanimously elected and duly installed by P.D.P. Brother E. Abel. The lodge presented P.A. Brother Haggerty with a P.A. collar and diploma. V.A.B. Brotlier D. Abel presented to the president of the Druids' Sports and Pastimes Association a Soccer ball to help foster that game in the association.
