Petone, in their second innings, scored 53 runs for the loss of nine wickets (Scorings 22, Parrant 11), and managed to avert a three-point loss. Bowling for Potone, Edwards took two wickets for 36 and one for 13. For Marist, Johnson took four for 22 and four for 3, Andrews five for 14 and four for 25. In Marist's second innings Johnson hit seven 6's, four of which were scored in one over. V.M.C.A. C defeated Hutt by 40 runs on the first innings. In their innings V.M.C.A. made 60.
