The committee decided no to alter the conditions for 1922,' bn undertook to consult the wishes of com petitors in regard' to the future substi ■tution of , thirty-six for eighteen-hol matches throughout the competition. The committee decided to accept ai invitation to send a team to America. In connection with the open champion ship at Sandwich, a driving competitio will be arranged, the results of whic will form the basis for further investiga tion of the standard ball question.
