THE SUNSPOTS
Further observations disclose rapid changes in the large sun-spots reported yesterday, and the main spot of the larger groiip is now 50,000 miles in length. Both groups are. now distinctly visible to the naked eye, one in the'eastern hemisphere and one in the western hemisphere. . An idea of the magnitude of a 50,000 mile spot can be had from the fact that hte earth is about 8000 miles in diameter.
