Ruakaka Hurdles, of 250 soys; one mile and a-half.—ShelLshock, 10.3, 1; Thiganfchu, 8.0, 2; Pepin, 9.3, 3. Scratched :\Thrace, Piopio, Ripeka-. Won by half a length. Time, 2min 51 4-Ssec. Roller came down at the first fence, and the rider, Mulvihall, received a severe shaking.
Trial Handicap, of 200 soys; seven furlongs.—Gold Bud, 8.5, 1; Irish Knight, 8.4, and Rippling 8.2, (dead heat), 2. Scratched : Whitianga, Wanigan, Sussex, , Hypothesis, -Kilmarney, Peter Rose, Tuipa. Won by a length. Time, lmin 30 3-ssec. Lord Star and Pengwin fell. .. : ■
