WELLINGTON CENTRAL SEAT
COUNCILLOR W. H. BENNETT'S CANDIDATURE ANNOUNCED.
In connection with the General Elections to be held towards the end of the year, Councillor W. H. Bennett is early in the field in announcing his candidature for Wellington Central, now represented by Mr. P. Fraser. Councillor Bennett, who has lived practically all his life in the constituency, will contest the seat as an Independent. He has been a member of the City Council for eight years and chairman of the Technical School Board of Governors for some time past.
