REDUCTION IN JAPANESE PACIFIC SERVICE
NEW YORK, 24th Febfuary. The Nippon' Yusen Kajsha announced that the ( Pacific service will be reduced in April by the substitution of four 6COO-tonners for the present 10,000-ton liners. Passenger fares will .be reduced by 100 dollars; The larger boats will be transferred ■to the European service, which is carrying 47,000 passengers monthly*
