Practically the whole of the p.m. shift attended—about 170 tramwaymen—who marched impressively in two long single files. The pall bearers were fellow-workers of the deceased. The City Council was represented by Councillor P. Eraser, M.P., and the Tramway Department by Mr. D. M'Gillivray, Traffic Manager, and members" of the staff of inispectors. The service at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. Eric Rice.
