(Received January 17, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 16th January. Th« blizzard which swept Englandl on Saturday and Sunday was moat severe in the Midlands and the north. In the peak district it was the worst for twenty yeara. Railway traffic was interrupted by very heavy drifts in Leicestershire, Yomhire, and the West of Scotland.
