PARIS, 9th September.
Advices from Mayence state that there has been serious rioting at Spires, Bavaria, on the occasion of a workmen's demonstration in connection with the murder of Herr Erzberger. The Government offices were partly / demolished. Numerous arrests were made. Workmen struclc to obtain the release of those imprisoned, and stormed the Government offices.' The police fired their rifles and a workman was killed and many wounded.
