NO DIMINUTION OF APPROPRIATION.
WASHINGTON, 7th September. It is stated that despite the Armament Conference the Navy Department has submitted estimates to the Budget Director asking for appropriations for the fiscal year beginning Ist July, 1922, equal to those of the present year—about 410 million dollars. '
