A GLORIOUS SPRING DAY
Superb weather conditions continue. The dawn presented Wellington with another, glorious spring day with blue skies overhead, resplendent sunshine, and a light southerly breeze which had just sufficient "nip" in it to be pleasant. At 9 a.m., the Government Meteorologist forecasted fair to cloudy weather with increasing ,cloud and haziness generally, and rain .following-shortly in the west coast and southern districts. Northward of Farewell Spit and Kuikoura, easterly winds, moderate to strong and backing to northerly are expected, with, iiortheilies, changing to westerly, elsewhere. . •' ..
