IN POSITION AT NEWTOWN PARK.
Aftor having reposed at the corner of the old market, reserve in Manners-street fop'many months, a grim remindor of the disturbance which afflicted Europe a little while ago, and, incidentally, providing a resting place for Bundry tired souls, the big captured German gun lias been shifted to" a position at. the head of Newtown Park. The bulky piece, which is ofstho 5.9 in. naval pattern, was .towed to Newtown at the taP. of one of the .Corporation motor lorries, and will in future harmlessly coirmand the approaches Jo the Park from, a special site set apart for it.
