Mr. Marconi, addressing a meeting of the Marconi Company, said that provided the company had the opportunity, as was hoped, of creating a wireless telegraphic service to Australia, it was quite within the bounds of possibility that they might afterwards supply Mr. Hughes with telephonic communication with England; but the telegraphic service must exist before there was a possibility of a telephonic service.
