TOTAL REALISATION £54,000.
One of the largest, private sale* of city property known in Christchurch was completed last week. The block is situated at the corner of Cashel and Colombo streets, and was sold as follows :—
The part occupied by Watts Cash Grocery, together with adjoining premises occupied by Adams Bruce, Ltd., and J. A. Cook, was sold to Adams Bruce, Ltd., for £26,750. The premises occupied by F. H. 'Steel were purchased by Major and Norman L. Steel for £12,000; Dennis's and the Chinaman's adjoining, were purchased by Mr. J. T.tSutton for £16,250. The whole of these sales .were effected after intricate negotiations through tho agency of Mosley and Sheppard, Public Accountants and Estate Agents, 131, Hereford-street, Christchuich.—Advt.
