A picture filled with . emotional intensity is. " The Gilded Lily," the Paramount Royalty production now playing to large audiences at the Paramount and Artcraft Theatres. ' Mac Murray is presented as Lillian Drake, hostess of, a, popular private club, and is the dancing goddess that attracts crowds nightly. She is ably supported by a cast comprising Lowell Sherman, Charles Gerard, and Jason Robands. A most delightful picture is' "Straight is the Way," the seccond feature. Although the principal men's roles are those of crooks, the criminal element in the story is so modified that the effect is . one of charm rather than repulsion. • Matt Moore and Gladys Leslie have the leading roles.
