Two ■ Justices of the Peace, Messrs. I. Silck and J. B. Teasdale, presided at today's sitting of the Magistrate's Court. • , Two first-offending inebriates were dealt with in the usual manner.
William Gillhani, charged with the thett of £1 in money, the property of Maitland Williams, was remanded until to-morrow morning, bail being fixed at £10. A remand until-to-morrow was als6 granted in tho case of Frank Herbert Brett,' who. was charged with' obtaining board to tho value of £9 from one Marion' Webb by means of false pretences.
