IMPERIAL CONFERENCE RESOLUTION.

Montagu, Secretary of State for'lndiaf 1 interviewed by the Daily Telegraph on tho subject of Indians' status in the Empire, said: "Mr. Sastri, at the outset of the Imperial Conference, emphasised the point that the snbject was ono o! burning anxiety to Indians. A resolution was passed by the Conference which recognised Indians' rights to citizenship. We should' pay a special tribute to' Mr. Hughes, Mr. Massey, and Mr. Meighen for their ready acceptance of India "as a sister Commonwealth to Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, and for ths Imperial outlook which marked their speeches and actions."
