♦ MUTUAL CUP MATCH. Saturday's Rugby match between the University and Poneke teams will be played for the Mutual Insurance Cup, the proceeds going to improvements of the Park. Apart from its ■worthy object, the match should be one well worth seeing. The _'Varsity team at full strength is, in the opinion of. judges, unbeatable —the combination, both back and forward, being of the sort that delights football followers, whilst their defeat of Petone stamps Poneke ac a great side. The curtain-raisers are of unusual merit. The early games are between St. Patrick's College ajjd Scotn College in the Moascar Cup competition, and Oriental and Poneke in the final of the Fourth-Class Championship. All football followers are appealed to for support of these games, so that the union can proceed with the needed ground improvements.
