"PAOLO AND FRANCESCA."
Commencing on Tuesday, 23rd August, Miss Hardinge-Maltby will present the four-act poetic drama, ''Paolo and Francesca," by Stephen Phillips, at the Concert Chamber. "Paolo and Francesca" is the romantic story of ancient Italy, made famous by Dante. The performance should prove most interesting. Mr. Theodore Trezise will be seen <in the poetic part of Paolo. The numerous wedding guests, peasants, etc., include the Misses Jean M'Kenzie, Pearl Hamilton, Eila Bristow, Dorothy Tanner, Moi Leslie, Elodie Marmont, Beatrice Gubbins, Marion Findlay, Valeria Kernot, Beryl Marmont, and otherß. Box plans for the season of three nights are open at the Bristol to-day.
