ORGAN RECITAL.
lA.n excellent recital was given by the City Organist (Mr. Bernard Page) in tho Town Hall last niprht. The programme was a varied one, but the 'principal'attraction was AVagner's Good Friday music from Act 111. of the opera "Parsifal," which the organist rendered with splendid 'effect. Three Arcadian idylls, "Serenade," "Musette," and "Solitude," works by the great organist Lemane, were also much appreciated. Other items were Holloway's Suite Ancienne, consisting of four movements — "Prelude Chorale," " Couranto," " Duo," and " Finale Alia Fuga. "—an air and a gavotte by Wesley, " Barcarolle " (Faulky), and Scriabine's, Prelude No. 3 (op. 16). .\ ""
