ACCIDENT IN JERVOIS-QUAY
Shortly before 2.30 this afternoon a tramcar ran into -a two-horse lorry in Jervois-quay and took both hind wheels off. The lorry driver. M'Donald, was pitched on to the road and badly hurt, and, was conveyed to the Hospital. The ■lorry was owned by Messrs. P., Hayman and Co. It appears that both.the .vehicles were travelling in the', same (direction, and that the lorry unexpectedly got on. to the tram line. Motorman Boyce is said to have pulled up very smartly, and his action was favourably commented on by several spectators.
