LITTLE GROWNUPS.
The- Mid-Victorian Lady clings to the traditions of her own childhood, when "children should be geen and not heard" was a popular household slogan. Her idea of a perfectly pampered child is a mite of five or six, whoni Bhe passed walking with an attentive and solicitous maternal parent. They were peeking a movie with which to regale the fastidious infant, and the fond mama bent .down to - the small son crying anxiously/ "But you do like Charlie Chaplin, don't you, dear?"
