Opportunities for. hearing Shake** pearean drama are all too few in Wel-i lington. To-night such opportunity is to be given by the Dramatic Club of the Teachers' Training College,' Kelbiirn, when they will produce the "Merchant of Venice/ This opportunity is being given especially for the upper, standards of primary schools and for pupils of secondary schools, but no -lover of Shake*-* pearean drama should miss it.
