When a military aeroplane was flying over Aldershot at a height of 20,000 ft, the observer's oxygen pipe broke. The pilot offered to hand over his, but the observer pluckily refused, saying he could go another 3000 ft. The aeroplane ascended that height., When it descended the observer was delirious. He has since recovered.
