RACING PERMITS
TE KUITI CLUB'S OPINION,
(II TELISRAPH.—PRISS ASSOCIATION.)
TE KUITI, ilth August.
At a general meeting of the Te Kuifci Racing Olub, it was resolved': "That the club congratulates the Government on the appointment of the Racing Oom!mission, and expresses appreciation of the (juaiifications of members of the Com-' mission, in which they had exceptional' opportunities for judging the merits of the various clubs' appEcatious for extra ■'permits. In view, of tpase facts, the clubexpresses absolute confidence'in the Com-' mission's findings, and pledges its support to the Government in putting tha Commission's Teport into effect." It was further proposed; to -take the same attitude ait the meeting of the! Auckland. Province Country Clubs' ■ Association^ and to a-sk other clubs to back up the Commission. The club also intends to send a delegate to Wellington, when, the Bill is before Parliament to support its claims.
