LITIGATION OVER SHOES
Before Mr. 8.-Page, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court' this morning, H. F. Winstone, boot importer, of Auckland (Mr, E. F. Hadfield) sned Lindsay's, Ltd., of Wellington (Mr. L. J. Maule), for £40 for shoes alleged to have been sold and delivered to the defendants.
After hearing the ovidence, his Worship said he hold that there was no contract, the parties never being of the same mind in respect to the price. However, ho gave judgment for the plaintiff fpr 303, tho value of one pair of shoes, which had been sold by the defendants before they became aware of a change of price! Defendants were allowed costs totalling £7 7s.
