LODGE MEETINGS
A.D. Bro. Palmer presided over tho meeting of the Melroso Lodge on Tuesday evening, when there was a large gathering of members and visitors. Two sick brothers wero reported to be progressing favourably. At the conclusion of lodge business members' wives and lady friends wero entertained. Euchre was played, and the lady's prize was won by "Mr. Wahlers, playing as a lady. Mr. Press won tho gentleman's. The prizes were kindly donated by the Wellington Glass Company and Mr. Herb Price. A ventriloquial. turn was given by Mr. Platt, who also rendered elocutionary items. Dancing was indulged in and refresh;nients served. First-class music was supplied by Mr. F. Andrews.
