NEXT SEASON'S CHEESE
There appears to be an impression abroad ,in some quarters that the Imperial Government has offered to purchase the New Zealand output of cheese for next season at a price of llid per lb. This is entirely incorrect, as is shown by a cable just received from the High Commissioner, reading as follows : —"Understand that rumours current in New Zealand that Imperial Government considering purchase of, next season's output butter and; cheese. There is no truth in this."
