AMERICAN CO-OPERATION
WASHINGTON, sth August. The State Department has announced that Colonel Harvey (Ambassador in London) will represent America at the Supremo Council meeting in Paris.
LONDON, 6th August.
Tho American Embassy's announce- ' ment ihat Colonel Harvey will attend the forthcoming meeting of the Supreme Council is accompanied by an explanation that the Government, of the United States, while maintaining its traditional policy of. abstention ( from participation in matters distinctly European, is. deeply interested in the proper economic adjustment and just settlement of matters of world-wide importance discussed at these conferences, and desires to cooperate helpfully.
