CAR AND HORSE COLLIDE
YOUTH FATALLY INJURED.

NAPIER, 7th August. In Awatoto-road,' at an early hour this morning, a taxi car driven by W. Ramsay, and containing one occupant, la youth named' David .Sligh, aged 17, struck a wandering horse. The impact broke the steering gear, the wheels locked, and the car skidded and cap.sized, with the result that Sligh sustained fatal injuries, and tho driver, i who was thrown over a fence, was badly shaken. The horse was killed. , .
