IN THE EAST CAPE DISTRICT.
A telegram from Euatorea, in the East Capo \district, reports extraordinary weather. StrongV westerly gales have been blowing for a week, and trees have been uprooted in all directions, and there is snow on the mountains. There have been heavy thunderstorms ©very day, sometimes lasting for hours. The rivers are flooded. Over seven inches of rain have fallen since last Saturday.
