THE AIRSHIP PROPOSAL
LONDON, 4th August. Mr. Winston Churchill/ announced in the House of Commons that the Imperial Conference's decision regarding airships was that existing material for the development of Imperial air communications be retained until"ths Dominions had decided their future. He estimated the cost of maintenance of the airships for five months at £10,000.
Mr. Massey informs the Australian Press Association that the Dominions are not sharing in the maintenance expenditure unless tho Parliaments expressly authorise it.
