AUCKLAND
Mayoralty.—J. H. Gunsort (re-elected ljnopposed).
Council.—There were fifty candidates for tweiifcy-idne seats. Seventeen retiring members, including two of three Lnbour representatives, were re-elected. With the exception of the two successful Labour candidates ' (Messrs. Bloodworfch and Savage),' those elected were on either Progressive Citizens' ur i'.P.A. tickets, or both. Mr. Hutchison, who headed the poll, was also on the Returned Soldiers' ticket. Messrs. Ka.U Skelton and G. Davis were defeated. Hospital Board.—Wallace 8236, Mackay 7470. Knight 7005, Bagna.fi 6908, "Savage 6329. Mr. Savage was the only Labour candidate ekcted.
